Am learning a lot
I learn a lot because of the variety of students.
Am enjoying being here
I enjoy being here because I don't feel like I have to do certain things like party, smoke, and drink just to have a good time. With organizations such as the Baptist Campus Ministry, SGA, the Univeristy Activities Counsel, one does not have to be bored and can have good clean fun.
Bang for the buck
This is ultimately a bang for the buck because not only do you get a good education, but compared to other schools this one is cheaper. The campus is also well kept.
Tips for prospective students
Troy University is a school with good academics and an impressive staff. The professors try to get to know as many of their students as possible and expect the same effort in return. They are not difficult but expect the students to do their work. Walk into class with an attitude saying that you will make it and try your best instead of trying to float through your courses with minimal effort.
Great for these types of students
Troy University is great for students who like small towns, small campuses, and are approachable. If you are someone that don't usually like to speak when spoken to then don't go here because most people speak when you pass them and you don't want a bad impression.

Am learning a lot
I am a proud student of TROY University’s Graduate School Programs offered both on campus and/or through eTroy BlackBoard technology. I have nothing but the utmost respect and appreciation of the kinds of opportunities my TROY University degree provides for me and my family.

Am enjoying being here
Love the diversity of the campus. That's what attracted me the most. Students of all races and backgrounds coming together to achieve greatness.
Bang for the buck
One of TROY’s greatest attributes is the affordable tuition cost and class sizes. FORBES Magazine & GetEducated.com has named TROY as 'Best Buys.' Professors are courteous, freindly, knowledgeable and have each student’s best interest at heart. They put you 1st in the equation and take a backseat to your success.
Tips for prospective students
TROY offers many different degrees online and traditionally; from Associates to Bachelors, Master’s and now finishing with a Terminal Doctorate. The convenience of TROY’s distance learning is 2nd to none. The course work and course syllabus is exactly the same as it would be at TROY’s many brick-and-mortar locations throughout. Also, be sure to become a Lifetime Member of the Alumni Association. You wouldn't believe the benefits!
Great for these types of students
I love sports and the ensuing parties! Since joining the TROY family I have become a FANATIC of Trojan athletics. Last college season - although living in SC - I attended every TROY football game and had the time of my life! Although my guys lost some heart breakers, we put-up a very good fight against some pretty good football teams, and then went on to win our bowl game against Ohio U. Troy Baseball is also one to see. This year we almost made it to the Super Regionals before losing to Belmont in the 1st round. TROY University may be dubbed as a mid major university, inside beats the heart of a true Goliath. Come join me and finally realize The Future of Opportunities. See you class… Mark Brunner - eTroy Gard School...

At Troy University, you can meet the whole world in one small campus. Troy also stands as one of the top schools in the Southeast according to reviews by sources such as Forbes Magazine and the Princeton Review. Here, you can receive a great education while expanding your horizon globally.
Tips for prospective students
Troy is a relatively small town and there is not much going on in the area; at the same time, this could be good as it leads to less distractions from achieving educational goals. Unlike larger schools, you have a great chance to build relationships with fellow students and faculty alike.
Academic Rigor
Troy has a great academic program that has been recognized by various sources including Forbes Magazine, U.S. News & World Report, Institute of International Education, and the Princeton Review to name a few. Troy also has a strong Study Abroad program partnering with various schools around the world.
Dorm Life
Dorm Life can be nice depending on the dormitory you live, but overall dorm living is not that great. Some of the larger units are long due for renovations. The newer dorms however are very nice, but lack stoves to cook.
Recommendations: Clements Hall(co-ed), Pace Hall(co-ed), Trojan Village(co-ed), Shackelford Hall(co-ed), or Cowart Hall(female only)
Food and Dining
Troy University recently opened a new, state of the art dining facility that includes a hibachi-style restaurant, Moe's Southwest Grill, and Boar's Head. The Trojan Center (student center) also features a food court which includes Einstein Bros. Bagels, SubConnection, Mein Bowl Asian Cuisine, A&W, Chick-fil-a Express, Marketplace, and hopefully soon-to-be-open Papa John's Pizza.
What to do for fun
Fun is a relative term..haha.. Whether you enjoy meeting people and expanding your mind beyond your country's border, going out to one of the few bars in the area, or traveling to nearby beaches: Panama City Beach, FL or Destin, FL, Troy can guide you!
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
Troy University has the Trojan Walk where anyone interested will meet with the marching band and football team in a march to the stadium prior to football games. During Homecoming, the school has a parade through the downtown area of Troy. Here, various campus organizations design floats to showcase. Also, Troy U. has a Spring Fling.
Great for these types of students
Military students
International (International-minded) students
Non-traditional students
Students interested in studying abroad
Clubs and Activities
Troy offers many types of clubs and activities to join as diverse as the people you can meet on campus. You can also start your own group if you meet the necessary requirements.
Greek Life
You will find many Greek organizations available at Troy complete with a Sorority Hill and Fraternity Row for their respective living quarters.
Campus Safety
Troy's campus is generally safe. Regardless, I would recommend that if you do decide to walk the campus at night, please do not walk alone.

Bang for the buck
Troy University has a new saga!
Tips for prospective students
Get involved! There are so many activities, events, and groups/clubs to get involved with. I love going to free movie night and I also enjoy going to the BCM. Parking can get really bad! I suggest car-pooling if you want to live off campus or if you live close enough to walk. There is also a shuttle that goes around campus.
Great for these types of students
Troy University is great for international students. Troy University is also into ROTC students. Students at Troy University get extremely excited about Trojan football games as well!

Am learning a lot
Most of the classrooms have between 20-25 students to one teacher. The professors try to get to know the students, which makes the environment a little more casual.
Am enjoying being here
One of the things I like most about Troy University is that there's something for everyone to do. There are several organizations to join and there is almost always something to do on campus.
Bang for the buck
Troy University is kind of cheap as far as tuition and fees go, but I think you get a still get a quality education.
Tips for prospective students
Make sure you take a campus visit. I liked Troy from what I saw on their website, but my campus visit really convinced me that this was the school for me.

Troy University Montgomery has the best teachers and professors who are willing to work with you and care about your success.
Am enjoying being here
This school has many opportunities and activities available to meet the desires and ambitions of students.
Bang for the buck
The cost for education is very compatible with other schools and I believe I am getting my money's worth in education as well as experience.
Tips for prospective students
The best school for the non-traditional student who has a life outside of school. Schedules are convenient and varied for those with families, jobs and busy lives. You can attend at your own pace with total support for reaching your goals and dreams.

Academic Rigor
Troy takes pride in the Academic Rigor that is created by creating perfect class sizes and professor/student relationships. The balance helps create a solid academic education and confidence in yourself!
Dorm Life
The first year at Troy I lived in the ne freshman dorm and it was incredible! You could choose between a roommate or individual room. It was a great community and really enjoyed spending time there!
What to do for fun
Troy is located in a small town that truly revolves around the campus. There are lots of intramural sports to choose from and everyone enjoys attending football games in the fall. Local restaurants and movie theaters and a bowling Alley are all activities that can entertain you while attending College at Troy University.
Food and Dining
The food and dining was a great experience! You have a choice of how you use your points- and the choices are great and taste wonderful. It is centrally located on Campus and also a food court in the student center is great. Troy has everything you would want to eat and the atmosphere is great for socializing!
Tips for prospective students
Troy University has been a great experience thus far. It is the perfect size, not to big and not to small. The classes are a great size and you have a chance to really get to know your teachers. You can create a family here at the beautiful campus- I think you will love Troy University!

I honestly just have hiked and hammocked each trip i have made.
Bang for the buck
The tuition is excellent and the books are manageable.
Campus Safety
Campus seems very safe. There are a lot of blue police phones located around the campus.
