    Apply early! Even though Truman is incredibly cheap, you are highly likely to get financial aid for a decent test score. In fact, everyone automatically gets a scholarship based on GPA and ACT/SAT scores. Although Kirksville is not my favorite place, Truman is a good school and a great value!

    If possible, make sure to schedule a tour and talk to students currently enrolled at Truman. Truman offers a well-rounded education and students are held to high academic standards. Many employees are very familiar with the high quality students that graduate from Truman State.

    Look at schools that you know will challenge you. A school that has what you need and maybe a little more. Size is important and although you may think bigger is better you should weigh out your options and the most important thing to me is affordability for education. Look at schools that have great academic standing but are also in your price range. Truman is not only affordable but is the Harvard of the mid-west!
