In my first year at Tulane, I learned so much; not only in the classroom, but outside of it as well. At a school where almost 70% of the students are from outside of Louisiana, I had no problem meeting many diverse people, (culturally and geographically)! The friends I have made are from all over, including Boston, Hartford, Dallas, and even Sao Paolo, Brazil. At a school with a very high Jewish population, I was exposed to a religion that, living in Minnesota, I had very little exposure to. Meeting and getting to know people from all over the country...

    tulane is, in the words of the admissions officer, for those who wish to work hard as well as play hard (not party hard). students are very active and its great for those who don't want to succumb to being just one thing.

    with one of the most beautiful campuses in one of the most unique cities in the united states, tulane university offers an incredibly rigorous and unique higher educational experience. whether you choose to take advantage of the endless research opportunities or immerse yourself in the rich social fabric of the university, tulane really gives you the chance to have it all. the school and city will become exactly what you make of them, which is hopefully a lot!
