    Don't skip class and only show up on the days of tests! The professors are serious about what they have to teach every day, everything learned each day are really important, so don't think it's fine to stay home and browse the net for all the answers! Also, every professors are different and have different teaching strategies. If you're not able to understand and learn in a class because of how the professor teach then just switch professors!

    Be sure to always apply for things early no matter what it may be. If you need to talk to someone in the advisement office (which happens a lot) definitely make sure you give yourself enough time because the lines can get kind of long. Keep track of a schedule and try not to procrastinate.
