Compared to four-year colleges, completing two years at TCC is far and away much cheaper than attending all four years at somewhere like OU/OSU or out of state, especially if you are a Tulsa County resident. You can apply for Tulsa Achieves and your tuition will be paid for as long as you maintain a certain GPA and complete 40 hours of volunteer work each academic year. Even if someone is undecided on their major, they can get their Gen-Ed Associates Degree after two years and then transfer to another college. That way, they would only have to pay for the remaining two years.

TCC is a lot less expensive than other colleges. Even if you don't sign up for the free Tulsa Achieves program, TCC is thousands less than many of the other local universities in Tulsa and throughout Oklahoma, while offering the same courses as the more expensive schools.

Tulsa Community College is definitely worth your money because it offers great benefits for those who can't afford a lot. They have a Tulsa Achieves Program that offers 63 credit hours or 2 years (whichever is met first) for free as long as you volunteer for 40 hours a year and live in the Tulsa County.

Blackboard, also keeps it extremely easy to maintain any student needs. The library is always quiet and computers are always available to students. The physical fitness center is to die for with free classes and training available.

TCC is extremely inexpensive for the education and opportunities you are able to receive. Furthermore, they offer a program called Tulsa Achieves. Basically, if you meet some minimum requirements (a decent GPA, for example) and do 40 hours of community service for every fall semester you attend then they will pay for your tuition and fees. Score!
