    With the aid of some scholarships, this university will not be that hard to afford. With Albany being the capital, internships can be found if looked for. With all the events and help and parties and academic opportunities, this place is a great place to start building the rest of your life.

    There are various academic perks to UAlbany. The one that I find the best is the BA/MA program which allows you to take master degree classes during your senior year. This means that only one year of graduate school is needed if you so chooses to pursue it. Also, The school offers students the freedom to build there own major.

    There is so much to do off campus that even if you can't find anything to do on campus you can still go do something. Many places offer student discounts, and the buses are free with your SUNY ID card.

    If you are a New York resident, you will not find a better bang for your buck than at a SUNY school. It is a strong system that provides you with everything you need to be successful. In-state tuition is very worth the experience that you will have at the UAlbany community.
