I love living in the city and having access to downtown while also going to school. UAB is very diverse, which I also love. The premed programs are the best in the southeast, and I know I made the right choice coming to this school.

The campus is on the south end of downtown Birmingham. The campus is very small but lively, and it is easy to get to classes in 10 minutes. There is always construction going on and development occurring.

UAB was the only college I wanted to go to and the only one that I applied to. I was so thrilled when I got in and I had all these expectations of what it was like when I got up here, but they were wrong they were totally wrong. UAB is so much more than I expected, the campus is beautiful, the food is amazing, the professors are patient and understanding, and the students are so diverse and friendly. UAB is really a wonderful place.

Good solid look school. Great academics and programs but a little too costly and not worth unless going in state.
