    UAB is not cheap, like every other accredited university, but I feel like I am getting a good education for the money I am paying that will ultimately benefit me in the end.

    If you're an out of state student, even if you're on the highest scholarship UAB has to offer, please do your research. Remember that even though your scholarship may cover tuition, you will still have to pay for housing, meals, and more your Freshman year.

    Library open until 2am and 24 hour operation during midterm and finals weeks. Starbucks for a quick snack or spruce of caffeine while undergoing those late nights of studying. A writing center to help and mentor those seeking assistance and finding literary knowledge when preparing a paper.
