    very engaging community. many clubs and student organizations on the campus. the city of fairbanks has a very active community and there are a ton of events happening almost daily. concerts of all sorts here. entertainment is great as well.

    apply earlier in the year. semester registration periods are long, but the important classes will fill up quickly. don't be afraid to get in touch with the admissions department, they can be a great help to you. once you're accepted, plan on attending the new student orientation.
