There are hidden bobcat statues, one of which I've seen. I was walking to (or from) class and I look to the lake underneath the bridge that I'm walking on. Just as I was doing that I notice something next to the trees beside me and BAM! there it was. A bobcat statue pouncing. I admit, I jumped when I saw it. I did not expect it there. So of course I told my friend (best friend that attends UCM and came from the same high school). As we were walking to class I pointed it out. Her reaction: Stopped in her tracks, backed up, and gasped. I laughed at her, as any friend would, and made fun of her reaction, not admitting to my earlier response.

UC Merced provides a significant amount of financial aid, which allows the college experience overall to be more enjoyable. While college education is, in general, extremely pricey, UC Merced is one of the most reasonably priced colleges that I applied to.
