GO TO THE FREE EVENTS! There are free concerts every quarter, free movie premiers. And a rave company threw the school (off campus) a concert!

About every quarter there is a major event put on by the ascb. There are free movie premieres as well for students. When I started there was a "block party" before classes started, there was a R&B night once, and this quarter there is a spring fling where LIL UZI VERT will be present.

There are many things to do for fun. I like going to downtown riverside and exploring the different activities around. The bus ride is free for Riverside students as long as you carry your I.D.

Attend seasonal concerts on campus (ie. Block Party, Spring Splash, Heat Festival). Attend sporting events (we are typically Division I underdogs). Engage in intramural sports. Look into studying abroad.

we're located right in the middle of la, oc, san diego and palm springs. though there's not too many things to do in riverside itself, there's always places to go, and a variety of places to go too.

You can join clubs (there's a ton). There are also a lot of events that go on within the dorms throughout the week. There isn't much to do off campus without a car or taking the bus. A lot of people go home on the weekends so it can get pretty boring if you stay which is why it's a good idea to get involved with clubs because most clubs have events over the weekend.

The University of California Riverside offers many opportunities for students to have fun such as music festivals, shopping from venders that come, and dances. Outside of campus, students have the option to explore Downtown Riverside and go to University Village to grab a bite or go watch a movie. Furthermore, many people enjoy visiting our Botanical Garden or hiking to the C on the top of the mountain.

If you go to Latitude 55, you can check out Xbox games to play, throw darts, play pool, play foosball, and play some board games. If one goes out to the Bell tower on particular Wednesdays at noon, you might catch a small concert. In the Student Recreation Center, you can climb the rock wall, float on the lazy river, soak in the jacuzzi, exercise, join a dance or yoga class, play badminton, play basketball, play racquetball, play tennis, or ping pong. You literally will need more time to fully take advantage of all the great things happening here.

You can do plenty of stuff inside of your hall (if you live on campus) plus there are always plenty of events going on that you can check out and clubs to join. Try visiting the Botanic Gardens.
