The beach is a 20 minute walk from Revelle College. A 10 minute walk can lead you to the La Jolla cliffs. There is a couple of hiking trials and malls around the campus. 30 minutes away is TJ, Mexico. Downtown La Jolla is a 15 minute drive. Legoland, Seaworld, and San Diego Zoo are all a 30 minute drive.

You can study ;) but in all seriousness, you can surf, explore the La Jolla area (which is very small), or explore San Diego (Downtown only gives a short thrill as it is very small). If you have a car, you can go further away to other parts, you could even cross the border to TIJ. Whatever you are interested in, search for it on google and sth should appear.

There are so many events happening! Free concerts and free movie showing at the school theatre. I totally recommend going to the free food events and going to club meetings. RAs also hoist a lot of events for your floor! I totally recommend living on campus for your first year; it'll allow you to explore the campus and meet new people.

Black's Beach is a short walk from campus, bonfires there at night are great bonding with new friends. La Jolla Cove is one bus ride away, as is Old Town, and many other spots of SD, which are easy and free to get to with our bus sticker! This school has a bad rep for being "socially dead", but it's all what you make of it, if you don't want to sit around, find something to do, there's always things going on on and off campus.
