There's a big number of extracurricular activities, as well as a Wellness Center for those who want to stay fit. Also, nearby you can visit Disneyworld, Seaworld, Universial Studios and more.

UCF around the beginning of the semester usually has a lot of things to do especially in the fall. There's Pegasus Palooza in the beginning of the fall semester, homecoming activities are pretty awesome, and around Christmas time they have light up UCF. The dorms usually plan fun events for the people living in their community. There's a lot of fun things to do outside of campus, there's outdoor mall called Waterford Plaza that 10 minutes away and mini golf place nearby called Congo River Golf. If you want to make the drive Disney and Universal are nearby. Also every year in the spring UCF has universal knights which is similar to grad night where all UCF students get into universal for free.

I'd say even if youre not really a club person, i would say just try it out just to say you've been there and done that, but also UCF has more than 600 clubs so there is more than enough things to get involved with on campus. Also if you're a little adrenaline junkie our gym has a rock climbing wall there as well. Also you have the choice to join a Sorority/Fraternity and that way you can get involved and you can also build those strong connections with others.

Trust me when I say you will never go bored at UCF. There are over 600 clubs you can join. You will never feel like an outsider at our university. Other than clubs, there are events that go on for students every week. Usually at the Student Union around lunch time you can find all sorts of things available to do. There are also two shopping centers within our university that include stores such as GameStop and Barnes & Noble, Barber shops, and Salons.

There is always some event happening on campus, most of them are solid good times. There are a couple clubs nearby which are always packed and a lot of fun. Downtown Orlando isn't that far and there are a couple shuttles that take you there for free. (No DD!). If you make good friends who like to go out and try new things you will never be bored here. Pro tip: I am NOT saying you should get a less than legitimate ID, that is illegal. All I am saying is that if you are under 21 it cost some big bucks to get into a club, a less that legal ID would pay off itself real fast.

UCF has many events that occur every month. Late Knights and CAB puts on events every month for everyone (students at UCF and the community) and there are sporting events that happen a lot.
