The food plans seem alright. Though some look like quite a lot to be paying for food, I am unsure if those prices would be actually considered overpriced if i were to compare with other colleges or with actual expenses in real life.

There are great restaurants on campus and in Tivoli, but food and dining depends on where students decide to live.

The dining area has a lot of seating but it seems so limited because three campuses share the area. Often packed and long waits in line. Certain days of the week the campus allows food trucks. Definitely try those out. If you've got a long break time in between classes, the campus is in the heart of downtown Denver and there's tons of food off campus.

the great part about this campus is it's proximity to downtown denver. there are lots of food options in the tivoli (definitely recommend ipie) and almost all the buildings have small cafes within them. on mondays there are food trucks by the king center which always sound delicious but if none of those strike your fancy, walking to 16th street mall takes probably ten minutes at most.

Over the past three years they have added a Starbucks ON CAMPUS, with 2-3 more starbucks a walking distance from campus. We also have a Qdoba on campus, Subway, McDonalds, a cafe in our North building and Science building, and a plethora of vending machines that take credit cards.

I live in the Campus Village Apartments on the Auraria Campus. This living option has a cafeteria that is optional to purchase a meal plan for in addition to rent. The food is not the greatest and healthy options are few and far between, but it's edible. When purchasing the meal plan you also receive Flex Cash which can be used at the convenience store within the building that has food, drinks, and some toiletries as well as the pizza place and Einsteins bagels on Campus. Dining on campus is in the student commons building (Tivoli) and there are about 6 or so options for fast food there, (McDonalds, Chinese, Subway) but must be purchased out of pocket.

Food Trucks every Monday. 5-10 minutes from the heart of Denver where food is unlimited. There are several good options on campus and healthy ones too (Blackboard Eats).

There is no greek life offered at CU Denver, so if you are looking for a group that provides a sense of family or community this needs to be found in other ways at this school. The lack of a greek life also adds to the lack of a large social scene at this school.
