Apparently, even though the course work does increase in difficulty (like in high school) you actually get more engaged in your courses & want to discover better ways to expand your knowledge. Plus the Learning Center help here is excellent!! Go there if you ever need any help in Math, Science, Language, or Writing-type classes

UCCS has a small campus but a big community. Even as an Engineering major (the major most notorious for having antisocial students) I've felt connected and included at this school. In addition, the teachers are mostly great and the courses I've taken have ranged from comfortable to challenging.

This university excels in everything from academics to extra curricular activities. It is large enough that you get a large variety of people, and small enough so you don't feel like a small fish in the ocean. UCCS can offer you more than just a higher education, it can offer you amazing experiences with new friends you make and push you out of your comfort zone.

If you're wealthy and can afford going to another school, go to CU Boulder or CU Denver. UCCS doesn't have resources, good food, a campus life- I've heard good things about the medical & engineering programs, but the College of Business is a piece of poo both in terms of academic quality & opportunity. Unless your dream job is to work for commission insurance sales, the College of Business career office is a joke.

UCCS is a great school where the learning of students is valued and the teachers care about what they teach and the students themselves. Weekly events and/or activities are offered for people to do. The people on campus are friendly and the environment is quite safe.

Good value for Colorado residents, with many degree options. Campus is growing - the recreation center is being expanded and additional housing under construction. Parking is difficult.

UCCS is an absolutely beautiful school. I was offered a $20,000 scholarship right off the bat that has convinced me further that UCCS is the school for me.
