Even though UCCS doesn't cost as much as a larger university, it is still not cheap. I think that even though it has some downsides, this university is offering a lot for the amount of money that you are paying to go there. You get to go to the gym and recreation center, get help from tutors, and meet with your professors during their office hours. There are a lot of things included in tuition that you receive as a student that makes it worth while.

way too expensive for the awful professors. if i wanted to teach my myself i would spend time on the internet, and not time and money in some pointless class where the professor doesn't even teach.

UCCS is not a very fun place to go to school. There is almost nothing to do and everyone goes home on the weekend. I would not recommend anyone to go to school here if you want to enjoy college. Even if you don't plan on graduating it is a very boring campus with no student community.
