The University of Dayton is a Roman Catholic university founded by Marianist priests. It is a member of both the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities and the Association of Marianist Universities, of which there are three in the nation. UD is a private research university with a “selective” admissions process. The China Institute at Suzhou Industrial Park is a satellite campus of UD and students can attend the university for a semester with no additional costs.
