Out of state tuition is expensive. Apply for scholarships and explore your options. If you want to go here badly enough, you'll find a way and make it happen. This is a great school, no doubt, but yes, it is expensive.

I do believe that UD is a great school that will challenge you academically. If you're in-state, UD is a great option. But if you're out of state, I really don't think 44K is worth it for a school that's around 78 in ranking.

School can be costly (I can attest to that don't worry), but with the University of Delaware you really can tell where they are applying some of the money they are receiving. You can see new dorms being built, new concerts coming in, and just general campus maintenance. The University of Delaware is constantly evolving and changing to make a better experience for their students which I means that you truly are getting bang for your buck.

The University of Delaware is an amazing deal for both in state students and out of state. Tuition is lower than most universities and the amount of help the students centers provide is amazing. Also, there are merit scholarships for those in leadership positions or students with a GPA higher than a 3.0.
