I loved going up to the mountains in my free time and snowboarding. There are many places to hike, bike, and just enjoy nature. I stayed away from the partying, but it is there is you're into it.

Denver is a really vibrant city with lots to do for fun. The public transportation system makes it really easy to get places between the lightrail (which is right on campus) and the bus, you can get all over the city. The University is relatively close to Cherry Creek Mall. There are many restaurants right around campus on both University and Evans. Additionally, most people who live here are very outdoorsy and you can almost always find someone who is going up to the mountains to ski/snowboard, or just to take a hike, so if you're into that kind of thing, that's a good community to get involved with and Denver is the perfect arena for this.

You can take the light rail to 16th street mall. There is always access to games. There is also a really good night life if you find the time.

There are nearly 100 clubs and organizations to be apart of here at DU. I am a part of Pi Lambda Chi Latina Sorority Inc. A few of the things we do consist of community service and strolling. Strolling is a combination of stepping and dancing. I also attend many of the DU basketball games, attend DUPB shops which have included canvas and cordials, bi weekly movie nights, and so much more.

There is a lot to do around Denver - parks, museums, and of course the mountains. There are also a lot of different student organizations here.
