At the University of Florida it always seems like something fun is going on, which I enjoy. There are so many resources on campus for students to network and get involved with clubs or rec sports, so many opportunities that emerge in that regard. The one issue I will say is dorm life, it's not bad, especially if you're an incoming Freshman, but be warned it can get messy and loud in the halls at a moments notice.

The University of Florida is the ideal school for a Florida resident searching for a large campus with a highly respected name. The entire town of Gainesville is centered around the school and caters to the students. Class sizes are large and course material is challenging, but rewarding.

It has an amazing bus system which accommodates off campus living students and they are constantly running from early hours in the morning to late hours at night. All of the buildings are relatively close to each other and it feels very much like a college campus. Of course, there are many places to meet and socialize with friends, like the new Reitz with the arcade room.

My whole family has attended UF and I plan to attend as well. It is a very prestigious school and by far one of the best in Florida. It has a great music program and some great people go there. The campus is old but other than that it is a beautiful school.

not only am i getting an education at the best school in the state (and one of the best public schools in the country), but i have also been able to enjoy my time through the many opportunities the school offers. i have made many friends through the several organizations i am a part of, and have been able to find both a research opportunity and a part-time job on-campus. i knew from the moment i visited uf that i belonged here.
