very, very beautiful buildings and general atmosphere/aesthetic, though it does get very hot. the students are nice and not snobby. the staff is really hard to get a hold of as far as financial aid and housing goes, it's tedious if you have a problem you need taken care of.

uf is a very challenging insitution, so you will definitely be forced to work very rigorously for a degree here. aside from academics, the school offers numerous clubs (over 1,000) to be involved in, and the athletics are always a great experience. gainesville is a beautiful city with many conservation areas that allow you to unwind from the hectic college life.

The one issue I will say is dorm life, it's not bad, especially if you're an incoming Freshman, but be warned it can get messy and loud in the halls at a moments notice.
