So far I love my experience here at UF. There are many ways to get involved in the UF community and ways of connecting. Specifically I love the dance program and the Arts in Medicine program.

I did not enjoy my time at UF, maybe it was because I wasn't involved like everyone said. All the professors did not teach (literally did not learn a thing) and they do not care about black students.

The campus is small but nice, easy to navigate. While some of the classes are challenging, there are many resources outside of lecture to assist performance in class. The environment is academic, but not cutthroat.

Spend thousands of dollars on tuition to listen to lectures. Spend an extra $50-$75 dollars a month for tutoring. The tutors teach better.

The University of Florida provides many opportunities for students including, but not limited to, the career resource center for reviewing resumes, organizations for all fields, majors, and interests (dance, crafting, digital arts, Greek, learning Korean, etc.), and events nearly every day. There is so much diversity at this University, and so many ways to participate in cultural activities. The University of Florida takes in bright individuals, and helps students to continue on a path of excellence.

  • I am researching this school and have not visited the campus

I have never seen the UF and I don't think I have 3 sentences of things to say about it, but I do know that it has tons of different courses and to my knowledge is the only Vet School in FL which I may or may not be attending in the future. It also has almost 50 thousand students and probably a very big campus, however tons of students often means a lot of students to one teacher in a normal course, but maybe UF is so big it still has a low student to teacher ratio.

UF is definitely a place for students looking to be involved in the community life, but also be challenged academically. It takes a decent amount of studying to keep up with a heavy course load, but campus is still enjoyable and fun.

It’s a perfect little college town. Midtown is great for social events, downtown is perfect for the more artistic crowd. The only thing it’s missing is you!
