UF is definitely a place for students looking to be involved in the community life, but also be challenged academically. It takes a decent amount of studying to keep up with a heavy course load, but campus is still enjoyable and fun.

It’s a perfect little college town. Midtown is great for social events, downtown is perfect for the more artistic crowd. The only thing it’s missing is you!

The University of Florida is the best university in the state! There's a perfect balance of superior academics, excellent sports teams, and an all around great tradition. While Gainesville may be a little slow, the feeling of being a Gator makes up for it and more!

I am currently enrolled in University of Florida Online and my experience so far has been great. My academic advisor is amazing as she does not mind when I email her 5+ times a day or schedule a video chat. All my questions and concerns are addressed and answered in an appropriate time frame.

One of the reasons why the University of Florida is still ranked number one in Florida is because of the superior course work and the caring professors. The campus is one of the most beautiful places to be at and they are constantly renovating. The UF experience is life changing!

The University of Florida is located in a perfect city since it revolves around the university. The classes are difficult so you can't slack off. The student lifestyle is really great and you can feel the school spirit everywhere.

If you truly want to be nothing but a number, and a dollar sign, this is your University, and an extreme let down from the portrayal give to parents and students. They totally alienate the families participation, and knowledge of students, and then pay little attention to their well-being, especially those who are more intelligent and tend to end up alone. The fabulous "CARE" program they tell you about is an extreme exaggeration, with very little help offered, and I can tell you that your student can need help, and be totally missing for more than a week, and you will know nothing.

  • Mar-15-2017 I am researching this school and have visited the campus

Being the daughter of two students of this university, I have spent a lot of time on the campus and can confidently say that the campus is beautiful and that the area is very homey. The entire campus is very nature oriented so if you love the outdoors and enjoy being surrounded by trees, this is certainly your school. It isn't in a city, which allows for this, and since it is a suburb-like, college town the whole area is focused on the school and the activities there.
