The cafeteria food has its ups and downs. For a week straight you can get prison food, ( actually prison gets better food) but other days you can be dining in a high class restaurant, and if all fails theirs a McD's and a Wendi's next door

I have never paid for meals that were this bad, before attending this university. The food is usually either undercooked or overcooked, depending on who is doing the cooking in the back. There is usually one day a week in which the food is actually good, but that only occurs due to visitors that come to eat with us during the meal times or when the president of the university stops by to ask us how we are doing. There are no warnings about possible allergens in the food that is prepared, and there have been times when the staff that is serving does not know what the food actually is. I give that one star to the person that cooks a small fresh meal each time the dining room opens. Without that person, the dining room would be empty at all times. However, despite the amazing and fresh food that is cooked in that person's area, other staff members treat that person badly because they are our saving grace.

When I visited Victoria, I also visited it's mall and ate there, and I noticed that there are a large variety of restaurants and types of food to eat, from chinese, to pizza, to mexican food, to fast food, there are plenty of options for a prospective student both on campus and off.

The staff at the dining hall are super sweet, and they make terrific food. However, don't go when it's about to close because they tend to out up the food early.

There is not a Greek life here. An attempt was made to create Greek fraternities but it was quickly pushed out of the picture.
