The university claims to have so much to offer to students but, as I have found out, it is all a lie. The classes are incredibly boring and overly expensive for the education that is received, aside from the rare few good classes. The food is horrid and is very very rarely worth what is charged. The staff is close to useless, except for student advisors. Particular student advisors are truly useless and they will only help you if they feel up to the task, despite it being their job. From one student to another: It's not what they say it is, and it is definitely not worth what they are charging to attend.

University of Houston-Victoria is a great option for those students who do not want to spend a lot of money on tuition. The school also gives students the opportunity to rent books which can be a great advantage.
