    absolutely not. i lived here and it was incredibly expensive for in-state public tuition. and not a dime of help from the school. oh, and thanks to our terrible governor making cuts to universities and our public schools, tuition will continue to increase significantly while nearly $900,000 is stripped from scholarship and grant funding for students. classes are often big and office hours for professors depends on the professor. sometimes they're a joke, and sometimes they're really helpful. i feel like academically, we've gone downhill a lot. unless you're an engineering or potential med student. you are absolutely a dollar sign to most of these people here.

    KU is very affordable with multiple scholarship opportunities. I'm in out of state student and I'm currently paying less then I would for instate tuition in my own home state. Books don't run that much and the activities in and around campus are college budget friendly.

    In-state tuition is very affordable, with loads of scholarship money offered by the university. Apparently out-of-state tuition is also reasonable, as many of my friends live elsewhere.
