I love free/discounted food! There are plenty of ways to get your fix. Local religious/college chapters will host discounted lunch days to help the student body's pocketbook and to help fund their mission trips! Your money goes to a good cause! Also, right on campus is a Starbucks that will have discounted coffee many days of the semester!

I feel like, for the affordable tuition price, the campus is beautiful and the courses are good. I feel like I'm being prepared for graduate school, and all of my professors really seemed like they wanted to help me get a good education and a prepare me for a job. I just wish the food was a bit better, and maybe a better internet connection in the dorm rooms.

ULM has an incredible amount of clubs to join, all of which are usually accepting members. There are several things to do on campus to make friends and there is always something to do. As far as academics go there are so many relaxing places to study around campus and of course there are ridiculous amount of people who are willing to help if you are struggling with anything.
