For in state students, especially commuters like myself, UofL was the clear choice. It is close to home and the tuition is not too high. I save a lot of money by not living on campus which is a huge plus.

UofL has been constantly raising tuition prices over the past few years. Like all colleges, the price tag that comes with attending is crazy high for what you get out of it. The meal plans can also be a bit expensive since it's hard to use it all up before the end of the semester.

Louisville is pretty good about giving out scholarships. The education and experiences you'll get here are as good as anywhere else.

Although U of L is a little more expensive than some of the other schools I feel like the exceptional academics and knowledgeable professors make it well worth the money. Also you get what you pay for and at U of L you pay for an adviser that meets with you one on one and truly knows your academics and what you need to succeed - you simply do not get that at some of the cheaper colleges.
