    If you aren't a local or if you do not enjoy being in the middle of nowhere, don't attend this school. Its in a very rural and isolated area. Also as long as you keep up with assignments and pay attention to class syllabus's, you will succeed here.

    It may be far from home or lots of civilization, but the hands on experience as well as the environmental connections here are something else. If you feel comfortable at a far enough distance from home and want a new experience, hands-on learning and being a part of a small community, then Machias is definitely for you!
