Located only a few miles outside of Washington D.C., and home to one of the best academic programs in the world, UMD has something for everyone. Many people don't think of Maryland as a prestigious university, however nothing could be further from the truth. You will love every minute you spend on campus and will make your friends feel bad for looking down on such a great school.

To get the grades you want, you're going to have to study. There are plenty of resources available to help with an endless amount of problems you have if you look for them. Some teachers are nice and fair, some are not.

I love my school! The Terp Pride is strong and there is always a great turnout for sports events! I encourage every potential student to at least tour the school and decide for yourself!

The campus is very large and confusing for new students to walk, especially for those with handicaps. The buildings are high tech and very nice. Maryland would be good place to go for an education for many people.
