Founded in 1886, The University of Maryland Eastern Shore is a public HBCU based in Princess Anne, MD. It is a member of the Thurgood Marshall Fund and University System of Maryland. UMES is a land-grant university and the only HBCU to be accredited by the PGA of America. Police and criminal science, kinesiology and exercise science, and sociology are among the top fields of study.

I am very please to be apart of this University, If i could go back in time in High School and pick the college that i would like to attend UMES would be my first pick.

University Of Maryland Eastern Shore is a very diverse HBCU with so much to offer. The professor at the university are very hands on and always make them self available outside of the classroom and via personal email. The curriculum is very flexible and and straight foward; so its very hard to fall behind .
