You can go into Amherst and spend time in the cute little town. Hanging with friends is how I spent most of my free time.

You can go into downtown Amherst to relax or to walk around. There’s a lot of shops there. Also you can go and visit other colleges nearby.

Amherst itself is a college town. There are restaraunts and malls nearby and there is a downtown Amherst easily accessible by bus. As long as you got the cash, there’s plenty of things to do around town! The mall nearby has roller skating, a movie theatre, laser tag, and escape rooms. It’s quite new and gives college students things to do on the weekends.

There's always something happening on campus and the school sends out emails every week with all of the events. There are also tons of clubs and activities to do on campus. My friends and I love to take the bus off campus and go to the restaurants, particularly the donut shop (Glazed Donuts), in Amherst Center.

With so many clubs and sports to choose from, there is literally something for everyone on campus. The downtown area of Amherst is a short walking distance from Central living area. The PVTA buses are free, so make use of them. Northampton is a town over and has so much to offer in terms of shopping or just hanging out. On campus you can always find live music, good food, and nice people.

Go out to town or northhampton. Join clubs and teams. Go to different events. Hangout on the grass and soak in some sun while it's available. I mostly go to the library or my room.
