Join clubs. There are so many different clubs such as science, Casa Latina, Capoiera, Haitian club and so on... going to the gm can be fun because there are different classes.

Joining clubs is a good way to get to know people and do some activities. If you are interested in teaching, UMass Boston has the U-teach program where they will teach you how to teach other students going from Middle-School to even High School.

Go to clubs and events. Visit the JFK or EMK museums, a five-minute walk from campus. Walk along the beautiful Harbor Walk with skyline views of Boston.

You need to see Red Sox games at Fenway Park and enjoy a Fenway sausage with onions and peppers from the street vendors. Fenway is lined with fun bars with music and entertainment. You can go to the Boston Museum of Art, the Science museum, the aquarium. Take a walk on the Freedom trail to see old Boston and Paul Revere's house. Boston is a great city with architecture that will wow you and churches that date back to the 16o's

There are a lot of clubs although I have not signed up for any. The school also has many events that are free to the students and often offer food. Make sure to enjoy the free food. There is quite a nightlife in Boston so go out and enjoy the many clubs and bars.
