The University of Miami is the perfect well-rounded school. Not many places with strong athletic traditions and vibrant party scenes offer strong academics, but UM is definitely one of them. There are no slack majors here. The professors are all leaders in their field and constantly challenge students with tough work loads. UM is definitely competitive academically and the small class sizes enhance your classroom learning experience. It is a school on rise as far as academics go. Each incoming class is more and more selective.

The campus is really nice and located in a nice suburban town on the outskirts of Miami. Class sizes are typically small and focused. They offer presidential scholarships ranging from 3,000-28,000 (annually) based on academic performance in high school.

The campus is absolutely breathtaking. There is a great atmosphere and any visitor can notice the shocking amount of diversity. During my last visit, I saw people from all over the globe and could not stop thinking about where everyone was headed and what they study.

It's a great school to attended, it's very diverse with different cultures from all around the world so you will meet alot of different people which is great. There's always something for you to do whether it's involved on campus or off.

UM is a fantastic school. The people are very friendly, and helpful. This school is small enough where you get to know your professors, yet big enough where you see a new face everyday. It is a gorgeous campus. I love my school. CANE for life :)

It's not really worth the price. Great for non-science majors, terrible for pre-med. I wish I would have gone elsewhere or waited to apply for medical school.

I am a proud 'Cane. I am entering UM in the fall as pre-law student and a political science major; I am still jostling my minor or second major and one of the countless things I love about the U is the ease at which you can mix your interests and cross departments.
