There's a reason why the motto is Hail to the Victors. This is one serious school meant for the serious student. Despite this, it's a very open school and full of great and creative people.

The campus was great--programs were grouped together well, buildings were easy to locate, and the city was beautiful. The admissions counselors are all very informative and give great tips to help get you accepted. Not to mention, the students around the campus are extremely diverse, coming from all cultures, religions, ethnicity and more.

I applied to this school but I was deferred from the Early Action decision. I was wondering if anyone knew what my chances were of being accepted at the Regular Decision date?

Great place to go if you didn't get into an Ivy League (or can't afford one) but still want a quality education. The campus environment is great. The professors are top notch.

The University of Michigan is an incredible school with incredible students. You will be given a great education with a variety of resources to help you succeed that aren't available at other colleges. The social-life is awesome, the teachers are awesome(for the most part), and there is a club for everything.

Extremely large with multiple campuses but with enough opportunities in clubs and extracurricular activities to make it feel small. The academics are difficult and students must be ready to tackle a heavy workload. Come here if you're looking for a top-notch university with slightly easier enrollment criteria, liberal-minded student body, and don't mind the harsh winters!
