The food in the UC is decent, but usually it's overpriced. There's a Starbucks in the UC as well which is nice. However, I think the cafeteria is really only there for convenience. There's plenty of other good food places across the street at the mall.

The University's cafes are not even arguably as good as local restaurants but to someone who is new to the area you may not know you have better options. The cafe's are in the same style of most high-school cafeterias.

We have a lot of different chapters on campus, both sororities and fraternities. I am in neither, but it IS very close-knit. If you're looking for sisters or brothers, you wouldn't be disappointed. I thought about joining one, but I didn't have the personality type to really fit in or mesh like other girls. If you don't want to join one, don't feel bad. Lots of people aren't in one. You will be asked to join by very nice girls and boys, so go to a Rush Week and see if you will be a good mesh.

It's a commuter school so not very great... it's still there though. Just not as great as schools like Michigan State, Ann Arbor, Western, or even Central.

The greek life is good, but unlike most schools its not the only way to have a good time, just a great way to make new friends.
