My biology class had many interactive lab projects and we gathered information form outdoors and around the lab itself. That class gives you more information to learn and helps you understand plants, animals and all other living creatures better. My French teacher is successfully helping me learn my third language in a smooth efficient way.

University of Michigan Dearborn is a much better school than I ever thought it would be when I first applied. Of course there are some downsides but it's a great college overall. I think it's especially welcoming to freshman and transfer students.

I feel that this is a great school! You get a Michigan degree for a fraction of the price! Only complaint is student life, it sometimes doesn't really feel like a college campus that way U of M Ann Arbor or MSU do.

since it is a small campus, it has smaller classes which helps students become more engaging and active in class and have a better understanding of the material. The professors are all amazing, very helpful and understanding and are always willing to help!

The University of Michigan-Dearborn's diverse population of students has opened my mind and heart to thinking and believing great things happen in the most unseemly places. With a close proximity to Detroit, the environment offers both a cultural and historical immersion that doesn't limit the student's educational experience to a classroom setting. As a sociology major, I've found the professors in the department to be well versed in the rich ethnic and cultural backgrounds of the students. Classroom sizes are small (mostly 40-60 students) so you are able to better connect with the professors.
