umd is a fantastic but underrated school. not many people know about it outside of minnesota and wisconsin, and even fewer consider it during their college search, but it is a wonderful school nonetheless. it has miles of trails, a great city down the hill, awesome sports, good people, and best of all it is cheap.

The University of Minnesota Duluth is the best kept college secret including; small class sizes for personal attention from professors, various ABET accredited programs, and helpful campus services for your transition into college life. The attitudes of UMD professors express that your education is their number one priority. UMD provides a unique college experience with their study abroad programs, diversity groups, and beautiful location.

Good for people into the outdoors and also for people who want to party a lot. If you don't want to party I found it was harder to make friends.

It is a good school for specific programs, but I am in the Music Program. The teachers aren't very personable, and they take personal choices seriously if it affects them even in the slightest way. Honestly being in this school feels like a very, very slight upgrade from high school.

This University offers a wide variety of clubs and groups for students to join and be involved in. It has an accepting and open minded atmosphere where students are free to be themselves. UMD is a very atypical college as every building is accessible without walking outside once you have entered.

The Duluth campus is a wonderful place for new students! All of the buildings are connected for easy access with out having to be out in the cold weather. Duluth also offers a good education with lots of off campus opportunities that will enhance your experience here at UMD. Those who can, Do-luth!

Attending the University of Minnesota- Duluth was the best decision I have ever made. It is in a fantastic location, I have a beautiful view of Lake Superior right from my dorm; the staff and people are all friendly, helpful, and want you to achieve, and the campus is beautiful, there is always something to do so there is never an excuse for getting bored. All in all- it is a great school!

Dultuh offers may opportunities in the surrounding community. It's a great area to hike and a lot of fun. The winter months can get a little long, stuck inside the tunnels, but it is great being able to wake up 15 minutes before class and still get there on time. Mostly, the school just seems like a giant building.
