The absolute only reason why I only put 4 stars is because as being a freshman I had to complete some general study classes that I felt was impractical for my major and felt I didn't benefit from. The classes designed for my major I would without a doubt give a 6 star.

UNL is big, but not as big as it initially seems. There will definitely be something that interests you. Find your niche or enjoy exploring all your options.

UNL is great for students who like larger sized classes and who don't need to be micromanaged. UNL has a place or group for everyone so that nobody is left out. It is like its own little community within Lincoln.

I would rate UNL at a four currently because when I needed support my point of contact and mentor through my scholarship, they were there the whole way. They encourage me to keep trying and ensure me that I would get a hang of everything especially since it was my first semester. Personally I need to feel like a have support from the college I'm attending and they definitely met my requirements.

Overall the university does its job as it should. There are many options and possibilities for those who want them. It has big research school resources but a small school type feeling.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln has a beautiful campus and I love the fact that it's like a town inside a city. They are great with scholarships, so far I have the regents which is full tuition and 2 other minor ones tucked under my belt. They have a great honors program that has its own housing AND will pay for your books.
