The classes offer an incredible amount of insight and new information. Classes tend to start off a little slow in my experience, but when they did get going they got going quickly and I learned a lot in short amounts of time. In addition, classes don't have lazy setups; that is, professors go into detail on each subject and don't simply list things for you to write down and memorize for the exams. Instead, they will actually take the time to explain and talk about each bit of content that comes up. Most professors also dedicate specific periods...

UNLV brings an abrupt end to your high school career as you make your way to this campus only to be frustrated by the lack of parking, terrible traffic, and overall unenthused core class professors. From there you realize that trudging to school every day becomes more of a chore, but you keep up with it as you are accepted into your major and classes start to become more interesting and professors seem genuinely invested in you as an individual. When you are finally a semester away from your graduation date, you can look back and realize that it has all been worth it and while it has been a struggle, you know nothing in life comes easy.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas is one of the most diverse universities in the area which makes it accessible to learn about different backgrounds and cultures. Being in the city, so close to the Strip, gives beautiful scenery to those who are new to the city, such as myself, and also gives its students places to explore because its also mountains near by. Overall, this university is amazing because it offers so much in return of become a Rebel and thats the ability to graduate from the school with more knowledge and experiences than you came in with.

This is my first year at UNLV as a transfer student and it has been the best university experience for me. Every professor has provided me with rigorous, yet effective coursework that benefits me and is teaching me about my major. Take a tour here and you'll fall in love just like I did.

The campus overall is big. The Lied library has several computers available for students to used but sometimes it gets packed and it hard to find computers opened. The campus is well located in the center of the city making it easier to get there.

A great school if you're willing to put in the effort to experience all it has to offer. Teachers are varied between great and okay, but upper level teachers all tend towards being awesome. There are many programs and extracurriculars for anything you can imagine, so there is something here for everyone.
