My college experience thus far has taught me to work hard, how to prioritize my time better, and how to enjoy a full college experience. Classes here are lots of work, in order to succeed I had to learn great study habits, become friends with my professors, and know that there is always help somewhere in the university. I never once felt overwhelmed or overworked and I soon realized that the University of Nevada, Reno has helped me learn not only inside the classrooms, but outside of them as well.

The University of Nevada is both a scenic, fun campus with all its clubs and activities and one that is not too costly. The campus is great when it comes to accommodating its students' educational goals, for it has many beneficial programs such as internships and research labs and free tutoring. The University is prestigious, because of its competitive graduate schools and quality of student curriculum, but it is affordable and offers many scholarships, keeping it open to people from all backgrounds who wish to apply.

The University of Nevada is one of those colleges that may not have been your first choice, but can definitely lead you in any direction you wish to go. The campus is constantly vibrant with activities, performances, and opportunities around every corner that it's hard not to join something. With internship connections to Microsoft, first college to have 3-D printing available to the study body, over 200 student clubs and organizations, home to the University Study Abroad Consortium, and many other various surprises, this college is quickly becoming a diamond in the rough of Nevada.

UNR has excellent academics. For the most part, there is a strong feeling of community here. If you are eligible for in-state tuition or the Western Undergraduate Exchange, UNR is very affordable.

By far the most beautiful campus in all of Nevada. Small enough to have close contact with your professors but still having space. Great library and research opportunities.
