There's a huge variety of clubs and activities, as well as a strong Greek life and social scene.

Join a sports team or club or intramural sports if you're athletic. If you aren't into organized team sports go to the brand new Hamel Rec center. Join an academic, service, or 'just-for-fun' club to find like-minded friends. There are literally hundreds of these on campus. *cough cough* Rotaract *cough* Go to the Memorial Union Building and play pool, or video games, or listen to a guest lecture, or watch a movie; just about anything you could want to do is there. The libraries are a chill place to read or hang out, especially Dimond. Oh, and there's the great college woods where you can go take a hike! Really peaceful and great stress relief if you need to get away from the bustle of college life. If you want hustle and bustle take a free UNH bus into Portsmouth to do a little shopping or to hang by the seaside. There are concerts at the beginning of Fall term there! Really you just have to venture out of your dorm room to find something to do at UNH.

There are always plenty of oppurtunites for fun things to do on campus and I encourage any prospective students to keep that in mind! Whether you love getting involved in the multiple organizations on campus or simply want to hit the gym, you are sure to find your niche here on campus. SCOPE is a great organization on campus that brings fun, big-name concerts for students to go see. CAB also holds fun events for students like bingo, the spring carnival and other fun things. Also, there are always movie showings in the MUB theatre that you can buy tickets for and other events going on in the MUB every week.

Sports games are popular (football and hockey), there are abundant socials in the dorms and activities at the Union. Clubs, sports and academics, of course, take up most of the time.

    1) Go to the sports games. There's something going on all throughout the year. 2) There are basketball courts and volleyball courts, etc. around some of the residence halls. Grab some friends and go play! There's equipment for students to rent, from basketballs to ice skates kayaks. 3) Go for a walk or run in college woods. There's plenty of paths and the scenery is amazing! 4) Join a sorority or fraternity 5) Go join a sports team 6) Join a club/student organization 7) Go t othe events held by the MUB
