Well New Mexico offers the Lottery Scholarship so every student living in New Mexico with a 3.0 or higher GPA out of high school can attend UNM free of cost. (excluding books, dorms, and other necessities) The Lottery Scholarship is hard to maintain and once you lose it, you can never get it back. However, this doesn't mean tuition is astronomical.
