Hiking, camping, exercising, shopping, hanging out with friends, movies, cooking, Gold Rush, Bear on the Square, trips to Walmart never get old. You can really do anything!

I enjoy attending events, Fall carnival, Spring Fling and Night hawks Unite. The intramural soccer is my favorite though.

This school offers Intramural sports and school club. Basketball and the health care club are examples of these extracurricular activities.

UNG is constantly offering events to attend that usually involve free food, t-shirts, and even extra credit for your classes. Outside activities are also great, but on-campus activities are so convenient!

This is the downside, there is nothing around to do for fun, but it may be because I have lived in Dahlonega and this area is not new to me.

Our four campuses all have very different atomspheres, so you are bound to find one that is right for you. The Oconee campus is ten minutes from Athens, so there is a ton of night life and restaurants close by.

When attending UNG, you will soon figure out that Dahlonega is North Georgia's best kept secret. Wither it is an on campus activity, hiking, camping, event at the downtown square, outlet shopping, greek life, sports clubs, etc.

University of North Georgia is located in the North Georgia Mountains, so there are a lot of outdoor activities available including hiking, camping, kayaking, and rock climbing. We're also an hour out of Atlanta so it's fun to go see concerts or sports games with a group of friends. The campus is also conveniently located within walking distance of the Dahlonega Square, which is the center of town where different festivals and events are held throughout the year.

At UNG there are so many things to do depending on your personal interest. I enjoy taking advantage of being in the beautiful mountains, spending time on trails around the reservoir, and visiting our amazing REC center facility. There is always something fun to do, whether it be hanging out on the square or at friends houses.
