Dahlonega, home of UNG, sits at the base of the smokey mountains and has some of the most beautiful scenery of any college town in Georgia. The class size is typically very small, which is great because the professors actually know you by name and care enough about you to help as much as possible. The student body has a very small town mentality, which means we actually look out for one another.

University of North Georgia is a great school with great, helpful, and caring teachers; it is hard to find professors who genuially care about their students and their education. University of North Georgia always has many activities, clubs, and sports that you can be a part of, even at some of the campuses they offer sororities and fraternities. All the faculty and staff are very helpful when it comes to questions about certain paperwork, future career options, class schedules, major changes, and overall making a great learning atmosphere.

This school has its ups and downs but overall it is a good place to begin one's college experience. The classes are limited but they are also small which allows for personal relations and one on one time with professesors. The school is great for students who are intimidated by large university settings or want to go somewhere where classes will be less intense.

UNG is great for student wanting a small-class size environment. The professors are willing to work with you as long as you are willing to put forth effort and come to class. Overall great environment in a busy town!

University of North Georgia has small class sizes for thosewho like to be a name not a number. This school is generally a good size, plenty of activities to do on campus. This school does not have much of a night life though.

UNG-Oconee is a small town campus with a big city personality. The professors are great, the class sizes are small, and the administration truly cares about their students' college experience. Students get the best of both worlds by attending this campus and living in a great college town like Athens.

The University of North Georgia has honestly changed my life in ways I never expected it to. Coming here from a much larger university, I planned on scooting through and moving on, but my time here getting involved in so many things changed my direction in this university, and in life. I recommend giving this university a solid chance before you dismiss it as the thirteenth grade.

The University of North Georgia quickly became my home when I started here 2 years ago. I have made lifelong friends and memories while being challenged academically and supported by the outgoing faculty and staff. By getting involved on campus, I have been presented with a bunch of opportunities for before and after graduation that I wouldn't have gotten anywhere else.
