    Admissions is competitive so you probably want to be either the jack of all trades or extremely qualified in one area. ND puts more emphasis on legacy status than most schools. Early Action has a higher admit rate but it is also significantly more competitive than regular admission. That said, I would recommend applying Early Action but I wouldn't worry if you have to wait until regular decision.

    Apparently Notre Dame is one of the hardest schools to get into. You must be a well rounded student, grades, Test scores(SAT/ACT), and be involved in your community with sports or services.

    Visit campus before anything else, and be aware that you're going to be stuck inside the Notre Dame bubble for a good chunk of your time here. Be wary of the single-sex dorms as well. Bundle up.
