For the amount of money students pay to live on campus, the utilities are mediocre. The water quality and pressure in Norman in general is awful. The water tastes disgusting. There are water "purifiers" on campus to refill water bottles with clean, good tasting water, but I find that these don't work. I feel like I need to fill water in Moore before I drive to school, or have to buy water bottles when I run out.

I came to OU as a National Merit Scholar, so it was very affordable for me. However, for those without financial aid, OU can be very expensive.

The University of Oklahoma, or OU, uses its tuition and fees wisely. With a beautiful landscapes, great places to study and delicious food, the fees are spent towards the students. The tuition is not exorbitantly high and the overall cost is fairly decent as compared to other research institutions in the nation. Coming to OU, and receiving this higher educational degree will be very worth it in the long run.

I'm from Arkansas and the cost for non-residents has forced me to seriously consider transferring back to a school in Arkansas where it is cheaper. It can be especially difficult to get scholarships from OU as well. I adore the school as a whole, it has great resources and classes, but unless you're a National Merit student or from Oklahoma, the cost can be a serious drawback.
