Penn is a very competitive but very worthwhile place. The courses will challenge you and force you to grow. It may be a difficult four years but you will get a great education.

This school is very academic in that one can find driven students in every subject field. Additionally, this school has an underestimated social scene in that it tends to be fairly easy to find peers with similar hobbies. Finally, Penn is a place with an abundant amount of extracurricular opportunities, so finding clubs and internships are very easy given a certain amount of determination.

an academically rigorous, competitive ivy league school filled with rich traditions. beautiful historic yet urban campus in west philadelphia that houses undergraduate and graduate students. has amazing academic and administrative support - you are really cared for as a student there and become part of a legacy. i had an amazingly challenging and rich experience at penn - i grew a ton intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.

It's in a perfect location even though it's kind of in the city. You can't even ell you're in a city and this helps because you don't get sucked into the city life of Phily. The campus is so historic and beautiful.

Penn has a lot of opportunities academically and socially which I absolutely love. As most colleges are, you get a mix of both good and bad teachers based on how you learn best, but there are always tutors, friends, TAs, and office hours there to help. I have always been a pretty average student, and I don't find the classes to be too difficult, so don't worry about it!

The campus is absolutely beautiful! I've seen bits and pieces of the area, and for someone from the middle of nowhere, UPenn was nothing like I expected. Very pleased with what I saw, and hopefully I'll end up at this beautiful university.
