I can honestly say that I have never felt so well taken care of academically. All of the teachers here are dedicated to their job and to the students. They go out of their way to make sure that every student is keeping up with the material. The class sizes are small enough that you become friends with your professor. You get to know them, they get to know you. You form a relationship based not only on learning, but on interaction.

The staff and the students truly seemed to be working toward one goa: to go beyond through teaching and learning. Moreover, they seemed delighted to be there which in many ways represents the happy environment of the school and its community.

A small school with a great location and good education. You can get to downtown with Trimet or walk to Forest Park. The quality of all of the Professors I've met so far are kind, caring, but not afraid to push you

The University of Portland is a small, Catholic university in North Portland and is located in a great spot- close to downtown but in a quiet neighborhood with gorgeous pine and cherry trees. Everyone is pretty friendly, but there is definitely some of the snobbishness that comes with going to a small private institution. The classes are challenging and typically small- about 15 to a class with most of the courses being discussion based or hands-on rather than lecture setting.

If you have the money to attend here, do it! The professors truly care about your progress in class and your mental health. And the advisors are really caring people, if you need to see them the next day because of emergency reasons, they'll make the time.

University of Portland has a very nice campus with quite new buildings. Most of their buildings are very modern and have a lot going on inside. Also, their dorm life is spectacular, because they are very close with each other.

All of the faculty is there to help you succeed. The wifi is spotty at best (especially around finals), so bring a USB stick ALWAYS. A welcoming, pleasant group of people on this campus.
