UP is a pricey school and tuition does raise every year. That being said, it also offers financial aid to 95% of the students. I am luckily one of those students and if it wasn't for the financial aid I know I, along with many of my friends, would not be able to attend this school. Nonetheless, I do think it is worth it. I love the faculty here and they really care about you. I also do think I am learning a lot both academically and personally.

At almost $50,000, UP is good, but not great. They give out great scholarships to those who deserve and need them. However, for more than $7,000 less, I will get the same treatment and schooling at a university closer to home.

This school is obviously expensive at first glance but they are very generous on their aide and scholarships that they hand out. Also UP is a very good school in general. I am personally an elementary education major and their education department is one of the best on the west coast. Overall I believe that it is worth the price.

I would love for the tuition to be lowered, preferably by half, and do not think that the exorbitant tuition is necessary for this university. However, there is a lot that the campus and staff offer, and I continue to want to attend this school.
