The classes I have taken at URI have all helped me learn a lot. They are not time-filler classes that are there just for you to get a grade. You will come out of every class being much more educated on that topic.

I love how the stairs in the Biotechnology college is designed to look like DNA. Also URI offers a dual major program where engineers can pick a language to major in as well and in their fourth get to travel to a different country!

URI is situated in a beautiful coastal town, just a 5 minute drive away from the beach. Within walking distance of the campus is a train station with trains to New York City, Boston, and many other locations for a fun weekend outing. The wide campus encompasses the beauty of the country while still providing access to urban sources of entertainment.

This university is great and so is the food. You have awesome mentors and great clubs. All of you professors are willing to help if you ask.

The chemistry program here is really disorganized and is pretty much designed to make you fail. Eco-science, engineering, and marine related sciences are the way to go. Dorm life is pretty bad, but off campus living is amazing.

Very beautiful, medium sized campus with the most friendly people you'll ever meet. Classes range from small to large lecture hall, but for the most part all professors are very nice and want to help you succeed! Also super close to the beach and feels like a family community.

Most of the professors here are excellent. Even though some of the classes are quite large (more than 150 people) it doesn't feel like it during the lecture. There is something for everyone with all the different clubs and organizations on campus!

It is a big school so it is easy to get lost in, but there are ways to make it smaller. It has its ups and downs; there are great teachers and some not so great. The campus is beautiful.
