My advice to prospective students would be to call the Forge and speak to a Financial Aid coordinator as they are very helpful in navigating the Financial Aid process and will make sure you have applied/signed up for all the Financial Aid you are eligible for. Also, don't wait until the last minute to get all of the paperwork in. The quicker you turn all of that in, the easier check-in will be on your arrival/move in day. Finally, I would advise students to get connected! Join the Class of 2019 (or whatever your year would be) page on Facebook and say Hello! These connections and friendships you will make are going to be life-long relationships with people who will love, encourage, and advocate for you!

To get far in this school, you must be willing to challenge yourself academically. The teachers will not do this for you. All of the teachers are wonderful people who will enrich your life if you let them, but they are not all perfect professors. (Of course, no college has perfect professors.) Also, this is not a school of math or science: if you're looking for that, this is not the place for you. Our strengths are in Digital Media, music, ministry and teaching majors.

Actually make sure, you are Christian, as in actually declaring a relationship with Christ because this school is grounded in Biblical Values. Perhaps a no brainer but bring a Bible with you. It helps to have your financial aid in check in terms of your tuition being paided off for each year you attend.

Expect to get involved in extra curricular activities and be disciplined in every aspect. Like anything else, you receive what you put into it.
